The Tomer Bar Trio”, a music band from Israel will be participating in JAZZ BLISS 2012 which is going to be held from 27th November to 2nd December 2012 in Yangon, Myanmar. The music festival was organized by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in cooperation with the Embassies of France, Israel and the United States of America as well as the German Goethe Institute and supported by Gitameit Music Center and ISY.
Together with the Israeli Musicians, French, German and Myanmar musicians will be performing with their own programs from 27th November to 1st December and a common program, an Open Air Concert is on 2nd December at Sein Lan So Pyay Garden, Yangon. This is the third time for the Israeli and International musicians to be participating in an International Jazz Festival in Myanmar.

The Tomer Bar Trio was established in 2010. The Trio performs Tomer's original compositions as arranged by the ensemble at rehearsals. The compositions performed by the Trio express an attempt to connect contemporary jazz with the "local", Israeli orientation, thus reaching out to the Israeli and international audiences with a representative combination of international style jazz and a variety of "Israeli" music styles.
Tomer Bar, born in 1994.
He is described by the media as the "Melody Prince of Israeli Jazz", has been writing, composing and recording albums since he was just 12 years old. Among his albums are "Memories" and "Reflection", two jazz albums that won enthusiastic acclaim, including in Down Beat Magazine. Tomer's fourth album and the Trio's first, "Local Groove", is distributed also by the international distribution company "SPECTRAJAZZ RECORDS".
Tomer has appeared in some of the largest and most distinguished festivals.
Max Oleartchik, born 1987 - Tel Aviv.
He was Graduated from “Thalma Yellin” High School of the Performing Arts and continued his advance study of music in “Stricker College”. Between 2005 and 2008, he served in the IDF (Israeli Army) in a program for excellent music. He had a record of performing with various musicians such as “Gadi Lahavi Trio” in 2011 Brazilian Tour, 2010 European Tour .He played with Gypsy Jazz Trio Tour in England. He received a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music, Boston- for Summer Performance Program in 2004.
Ofri Nehemya born 1994- Givataym.
He started playing the drums at very young age under the influence of his father which is a professional drummer. Ofri Graduated from “Thelma-Yellin” high school of arts and participated at the 5 weeks Berklee summer program, he won a full rid scholarship for 4 year studies. He plays with various musicians, ensembles and bands and participates at Jazz Music Festivals in Israel and around the world. Recently he recorded a jazz album with Tomer Bar, named "Local Groove". Nowadays, Ofri is serving in the IDF in a program for excellent music.
