The film will be introduced by the director, Jonathan Gruber. He will also be available for Q&A at the end. See the film critics are raving about, chronicling the life of one of Israel’s bravest national heroes. On July 4, 1976, Yoni Netanyahu led a dramatic raid to free Jewish hostages at the airport in Entebbe Uganda. Yoni Netanyahu, the leader of this “impossible mission”, was also its only casualty. The documentary charts Netanyahu’s life and his attachment to Judaism and the Jewish state through his own words as preserved in letters and diaries. Your connection to Israel is
sure to be strengthened as the themes of heroism, leadership, country, family, and tragedy all intersect.
