ReelAbilities is the largest festival in the country dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with disabilities from a variety of communities. The Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia is excited to present the 2nd Annual ReelAbilities: Greater DC Disabilities Film Festival which presents award-winning films by and about people with disabilities. The films are accompanied by discussions and other engaging programs which bring together the community to explore, discuss, embrace, and celebrate the diversity of our shared human experience.
"Silent Games" follows the Israeli deaf soccer team and their "impossible mission": to get into the World Championship in Bulgaria against 24 teams whose players enjoy first class training camps and who earn salaries on the professional level.
