Israeli choreographer Idan Cohen brings his dance company to American University. Mad Siren, set to the sound of W.A. Mozart's solo piano sonatas, has been called "one of the more talented representatives of today's young, independent choreographers" by the Jerusalem Post. Idan will discuss the influences in this latest work with Pamela Squires, Washington Post dance critic.
Co-sponsored by AU Center for Israel Studies, AU Performing Arts Department Dance Program, and Embassy of Israel.
