Dr. Israel Waismel-Manor is currently an AICE visiting professor of Political Science at Stanford University. He is a senior lecturer at the University of Haifa’s School of Political Sciences. His research and teaching focus on political behavior, public opinion and political communication across campaigns and elections in Israel and the United States.
He earned a B.A. in political science from the Hebrew University at Jerusalem (1996) and a Ph.D. in Government from Cornell University (2005). His work gas been published in such journals as The Journal of Communication, The International Journal of Press and Politics, New Political Science, The International Journal of Public Opinion Research, Political Communication, Political Behavior, PS: Political Science and Politics and European Neuropsychopharmacology.
Dr. Waisal-Manor has been a visiting professor at Cornell University, an exchange scholar at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and has served on APSA's Presidency Research Group board of directors. His work has been featured in several media outlets including the New York Times, the Washington Times, the Huffington Post and the Jerusalem Post.
