Dr Yaacov Yadgar arrived as a
visitor at UC Berkeley's Institute for Jewish Law and Israeli Law, Society and
Economy from the Department of Political Studies at Bar-Ilan University in
Israel. He has published several books and numerous articles dealing mainly
with issues of the interplay between identity, tradition, secularism, modernity
and politics.
