Aaron Sagui is the Spokesperson for the Embassy of Israel in Washington, DC.
Mr. Sagui began his diplomatic career in 2000 as the Deputy Chief of Mission at Israel's embassy in Caracas, where he served for three years. He returned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem to work in the South America Department. For his next post, he served as the Deputy Consul-General at Israel's consulate in Miami until 2007.
Following his experience in Miami, he was appointed as the spokesperson for the embassy in Berlin, where he worked until 2010. From Germany, he returned to Jerusalem and served as the Deputy Director of the Economic Department for the Americas.
Mr. Sagui was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He served in the Israel Defense Force's Givati Infantry Division before earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife and three children.
