The Press Office is in contact with Israeli and Singaporean news resources, as well as the general public. It explains Israel's position on different matters, and organises interviews and meetings between diplomats, guests of the Embassy, the media, and the general public.
The Press department can provide information on current political developments, background material, and cultural material.

Mrs Liat Lazimi-Levi
Deputy Chief of Mission
Liat Lazimi Levi holds the position of Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Israel in Singapore where she heads the cultural and political department. Armed with a Masters in Criminology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Liat did her BA in Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic Literature from the same university. Before commencing her term as DCM with the Embassy of Israel in Singapore, Liat held the position of Deputy Director at Department for Export Controls in the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ms Sangeetha Naidu
Media & Public Affairs Officer
Sangeetha deals with the media and press department of the Embassy. She works closely with the local media in providing accurate and timely information about Israel as well as feeding the public with significant events and developments that happen in Israel or Singapore. She is also responsible for the Website and Publications management porfolios. She reports to Deputy Chief of Mission Ms Liat Lazimi-Levi and works hand in hand with the Cultural Officer.
Prior to joining the Embassy, she was a Communications Executive with The Institute of Public Relations of Singapore (IPRS) where she handled the programmes, publicity as well as newsletter portfolios for the non-profit networking hub for Public Relations professionals.
Sangeetha has some years of experience in journalism where she has contributed to various publications. She has also published a book titled, "Your Future in Television Production".
Sangeetha holds a Degree in Mass Communication from Murdoch University, specialising in Journalism and Public Relations, as well as a Diploma in Mass Communication from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore. She was awarded the Public Relations Prize by the Institute of Public Relations of Singapore for Outstanding Performance in the Advanced Public Relations module in 2004.
When she's not managing the press department at the embassy, Sangeetha travels, bakes and volunteers for a couple of women and children-related NGOs.
