One of Israel's top filmmakers Avi Nesher was in South Africa to scout out locations for his next film and we were fortunate to have him at the Premiere where he gave a fascinating talk.

The Festival kicked off in Johannesburg at the Rosebank Mall Cinema Nouveau Theatres from the 12th to the 18th of August. It then moved on to Cape Town at the V&A Waterfront from the 19th to the 25th. On the 26th of August it came back to Pretoria until the 1st of September and ended off in Durban from the 2nd of September until the 8th.

The Films that were screened were:

The Matchmaker, There Were Nights, Restless, Ajami, The Human Resources Manager, Three Mothers and Five Hours from Paris.
