For the
second year in a row, The Trade and Economic Office of the Embassy of Israel to
South Africa, with the aid and support of the Israeli Ministry of Trade and
Finance and The Export Institute of Israel participated in the highly prestigious
event ‘Africa Com’.
This year, The
Trade and Economic Office hosted a national pavilion comprising of 21 different
innovative companies who specialise in solutions in the information and
communications technology (ICT) sector. The event took place in Cape Town from
12-15 November. Over the course of the three day event, Israel witnessed more
than 100 fruitful meetings which took place with senior decision makers from
all over Africa including many of Africa’s biggest Telecoms companies.
In its 15th
year of existence, Africa Com is known as the continents leading expo with regard
to ICT. With over 200 speakers and 125
plus hours of scheduled content, Africa Com offers something for everyone. From keynote speakers to panel discussions,
demos and networking opportunities, Africa Com is the place to be for all
leading businesses and people involved in the ground-breaking communications
market.
The Trade
and Economic Office of the Embassy of Israel to South Africa was delighted to
be able to participate in such a capacity, and looks forward to using this
experience to launch many more business building opportunities here in South
Africa.
