The 3rd of November was a night that will be remembered for a while as The Embassy of Israel in Pretoria put on “A Taste of Peace “ at the Radisson Hotel in Sandton.
A delectable dinner was prepared by four of Israel’s Internationally acclaimed Chefs who were The Gold Award Winning Israeli Team at The Villeroy and Boch Culinary World Cup Competition in 2010.
As well as showcasing their culinary excellence - by combining the best of Israeli expertise with the finest South African produce - these Chefs who come from different ethnic backgrounds: Armenian, Christian, Jewish and Muslim, brought with them a beautiful unifying spirit by exemplifying the ethos of peaceful co-existence and co-operation.
Charlie Fadida - Executive Chef, Sheraton Hotel, Tel Aviv

The delicious dinner was complemented afterward by awesome entertainment from Hush and ICON who got the crowd rocking to Middle Eastern and South African music.
