What does the consular department do?
The
consular department provides many services, including: renewing/extending Israeli passports and travel documents; issuing visas to Israel; updating marital status; changing of name; registering children born to Israeli citizens outside of Israel; providing information regarding military service; providing information from the Population Registry; helping with subjects relating to nationality; assisting returning citizens; providing notarization and authentication; providing non-criminal record status.

How can I apply for an internship at the Embassy of Israel?
The Embassy of Israel offers unpaid internships for college students through its Department of Public Affairs. Please send an email with a cover letter and resume the Intern Coordinator mail
academic@israelemb.org. Internships are also available in the Israeli consulates. Please find the consulate nearest you to inquire about an internship.
