  •   Amiran Kenya: Gateway to Israeli Agriculture
Amiran Kenya had the pleasure of hosting H.E Gil Haskel, Ambassador of Israel, and his team at their JKIA offices for a brief tour of the premises where they were shown the various operations of the company.
Since inception in 1963, Amiran Kenya Ltd has been a driving force behind the horticulture and floriculture industries in Kenya and throughout East Africa. Over the years Amiran has expanded its activities and is today a leader in telecommunications, water purification, solar energy, generators and more. Amiran is part of the Balton CP group of companies and is considered by many to be “The Gateway to Israeli Agriculture” in Kenya.  Amiran’s ties to Israel are part of the company’s day to day operations.
The tour, led by the Managing Director of Amiran – Pinhas Moskovich, started at the Agro Division which offers a wide array of agro-chemicals and fertilizers to address all of the needs of a farmer. The Seeds, Agrochemicals, fertilizers and pesticides are sourced from some of the leading suppliers in the world because Amiran endeavors to maintain the highest global standards ensuring that only top quality products are made available to Customers.  Amiran Gold Medal Seeds are of higher standards giving the farmer the best quality and higher yields.

The tour wouldn’t be complete without visiting the demonstration farm of their Amiran Farmers Kit. The Amiran Farmer's Kit (AFK) allows small scale farmers affordable access to modern agricultural technologies, methods and inputs of the highest standard. The Kit is designed to meet the needs of the specific farmer or group of farmers by adapting the components of the Kit to suit the climate, terrain, and agricultural experience of the farmer. The AFK comes complete with installation, training and an agro-support package that would allow Amiran to teach the “Amiran Farmer” how to grow and then stay with the farmer throughout the season to ensure the best results.
