On site was an Israeli themed tent manned by staff from the Consulate General of Israel in Montreal, where passersby were served delicious Israeli fare and handed information on Israel. Calligraphers also printed special Hebrew nametags for hundreds of excited festival attendees of all ages.

In the evening all eyes turned to Lac des Sables for a special laser show on water followed by an open air concert by the band Kleztory who performed lively upbeat medleys fusing Eastern European, Balkan and Oriental music genres.

"This is a marvelous gathering. A wonderful opportunity for Israel to present itself and its vibrant cultural mosaic to the Quebecois mainstream," said Israeli Consul General Joel Lion who, along with  Sainte-Agathe Mayor Denis Chalifoux and Bertrand MNA Claude Cousineau, addressed the thousands in attendance.
