US Premiere of Three Good Men (Tres Hombres De Bien), the award winning play of Israeli-Argentinian author, Andrea Bauab, will play this weekend (in Spanish).
The compelling work Three Good Men (Tres Hombres de Bien) earned the highest prize at the Beit Lessin Theater Festival in Tel Aviv, Israel. It explores the theme of corruption through a single incident where a well-known doctor (Osvaldo Strongoli), a well-respected judge (Jorge Hernández), a reporter of impeccable reputation (Roberto San Martín), a distraught mother (Laura Ferretti), and the reporter's motivated wife (Victoria Murtagh) will confront a moral dilemma and find themselves in a conflict that will reveal their darker sides. The U.S. Premiere of this play is directed by Carbonell Award-winning director, John Rodaz.
Andrea Bauab, Playwright: Founder and director of the Contemporary Jewish Theatre in Argentina which explores cultural issues with diverse actors. Important works include: Desde la Cuna, A Punto de Irnos, Nunca es Demasiado Tarde, and the children's plays La Venganza de la Letra L and Shirley en Jerusalem. Ms. Bauab is the screenwriter of many films, including Cartas para Jenny, which opened in 2009.
