Carolyn Ben Natan comes to the Speakers Bureau after
serving as one of Israel's most popular and critically-acclaimed newscasters.
As principal anchor on Israel Television's English News, she covered
world events ranging from the Madrid Peace Conference to the Gulf
War. Her list of interviewees includes many outstanding personalities
in the Middle East, including the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin
and former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. A native of Los Angeles,
Carolyn has worked in television her entire career, starting in Los
Angeles affiliate station KNBC as a Special Assignment Reporter. Carolyn
has always been passionate about her Judaism. At 17 she became the
youngest person from Los Angeles to enter the Soviet Union carrying
out covert work on behalf of refuseniks. She served on staff at Brandies
Bardin Institute and has volunteered her time for a variety of Jewish
organizations including Vista del Mar, The Jewish Blind and Israel
Bonds.
