Yitzhak Rabin Memorial Fellowship

Applications are now being accepted for the fifth class of the Yitzhak Rabin Memorial Fellowship.  Open to all Washington area undergraduates, the program will commence in October 2011 and run through May 2012.

The Rabin Fellowship seeks to enhance knowledge and understanding of Middle East affairs among students with a significant interest in American and international politics.  Fellows participate in approximately seven seminars, engaging with well-known American and Middle Eastern diplomats, scholars and policy-makers.  Past speakers include former U.S. Under Secretary of State Thomas Pickering, Representative Gary Ackerman of the House International Relations Committee, and Dr. Robert Satloff of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.  In keeping with the legacy of the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, this selective program focuses on prospects for future peace and security in the Middle East.

Participation in the Rabin Fellowship is free of charge for those selected.  Fellows are expected to actively participate in all Fellowship activities, which will include briefings, lectures, and discussions. The fellowship will meet one Friday per month, from 12:00pm-2:30pm.

Applications are due by Wednesday, September 14th and should be submitted to Jason Harris via email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
