This year was full of challenges on all fronts. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the administration, Congress, and the American people for their long-standing support. 
 
Israel is especially appreciative of the president’s leadership in the international campaign to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and of Congress’s ground-breaking legislation on sanctions. Israel also welcomes the START treaty, which represents a bi-partisan effort that can strengthen those sanctions.
 
We wish that 2011 will be a year of prosperity, security, and peace for America, Israel, and the international community.
