Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, recognized by U.S. Congress as a vital American “Cultural Ambassador to the World,” features exciting premieres and new productions, including "Minus 16" by the renowned Israeli choreographer, Ohad Naharin. This work, unlike any other in the Ailey repertory, challenges the dancers to improvise and invites the audience to participate in the experience by joining the dancers onstage. Unfolding in sections, Minus 16 uses Naharin’s acclaimed “Gaga” method to broaden the possibilities for dancers as interpreters and reveal the humanity and wit of the Ailey Company.

"Minus 16" is part of Program B which will be presented Wednesday and Thursday Feburary 8 & 9 at 7:30PM.
