n the last decade, Israel has witnessed a growing thirst for education
among its youth which could not be adequately addressed by the existing
universities alone. Recognizing this, a series of private colleges has
surfaced in hopes of filling the void in Israel's growing educational
market. Because of the high interest in the fields of law and
management, many of these new private institutions, such as The
Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Business Law and
Technology in Herzliya, deal exclusively with these subjects.
The Tel Aviv International School
of Management (TISOM) was the first
private university in Israel to achieve full accreditation by the
Council for Higher Education. Founded by a team of international
academic entrepreneurs and business leaders, TISOM offers an MBA program
with faculty from around the world concentrating on international and
cross-cultural business issues.
