Israel Film Week, hosted by the Israeli Embassy in Hanoi, was organized from February 21-25 and introduced five films - Foul Gesture, Aviva My Love, Kadosh, Pick a Card and Passover Fever - to local audiences. All these films were shown at 7pm and 9pm at Cinematheque 22A Hai Ba Trung Street, Hanoi during the week. Entrance is free.
Prior to the first screening during the Reception for VIP guests, director Tzahi Grad introduced his movie Foul Gesture. The film won the best picture award at the 2006 Haifa International Film Festival in Israel.
The movie was also shown at 7pm on February 22 to the general public. The director had an talk with the audience after the film screening. Besides, he also visited and worked with students at Hanoi Cinema and Theatre College during the event.
Israel Film Week has been held biennially since 2007.
