Ambassador David Walzer

    Ambassador David Walzer was born in 1953. He received a BA from Haifa University in Economics and Middle East Studies and studied German Modern History and Politics at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
    Ambassador Walzer joined the Foreign Ministry in 1983. His foreign posts include Kenya, Canada, Denmark, Berlin and Bonn. He was the Ambassador at the Embassy of Israel in Denmark from 2004 until 2008.
    Prior to coming to Brussels, Ambassador Walzer served as the Director of the Center for Policy Research at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2011-2012.
    Ambassador Walzer has been the Ambassador of Israel to the European Union and NATO since 2012.
