The Consulate’s Press Office serves as a liaison between the State of Israel and the different media outlets, including print, broadcast, electronic, and social media throughout its 11-state region. It responds to media requests and offers information on Israel's political, economic and cultural issues and actively promotes Israeli events. The department arranges interviews and briefings for members of the media with the consulate’s diplomats and other government officials. The department regularly offers to the press meetings and interviews with visiting Israeli scholars, policymakers, military officials and other experts on Israel related issues.
