25th BJFF – LGBTQ Shorts Program: OUT Loud
  • 25th BJFF – LGBTQ Shorts Program: OUT Loud

This dramatic emotional and sometimes painful series of LGBTQ short films from Israel, Canada, and the US looks at the way many of us grapple with issues of identity and self-expression, and how this struggle impacts the people closest to us.  Following the program, join us for a panel discussion moderated by Keshet. Three Israeli films are being shown.
    • A Matter of Sex: Two same-sex couples meet in Tel Aviv for a life-changing decision, with unexpected twists and turns.
    • Summer Vacation: The "perfect" Israeli family vacation is threatened when a reunion creates heart-wrenching confrontations.
    • Water Wells - A young teacher and student enter a forbidden relationship in Israel, 1948.
