Danie Meron - Counselor for Congressional Affairs

Mr. Daniel Meron is currently the Counselor for Congressional Affairs at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, DC. Prior to his appointment to the Congressional Affairs section of the Embassy, Counselor Meron held the position of the Foreign Affairs advisor in the Office of the President of Israel. Counselor Meron served at the Embassy of Israel in Nicosia, Cyprus and at the Embassy of Israel in Oslo, Norway, and he also held a position within the Office of the Legal Advisor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Counselor Meron received a law degree from Bar-Ilan University after which he was accepted to the Israeli Bar Association. He has also done substantial coursework in International Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
