GERSHON KEDAR

In August 2001, Gershon Kedar assumed the post of Counselor in the Ambassador's Bureau at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, DC.

In 1999, Mr. Kedar served as Counselor in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem where he was responsible for political relations with Great Britain and Ireland.

He has been part of two other Israeli missions abroad, serving as Second Secretary in Dublin, Ireland from 1994-1997 and Second Secretary in New Delhi, India from 1992-1994.

Mr. Kedar enrolled in Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Cadet Course in 1990.

He holds a B. S. in International Relations from the London School of Economics and an M.A. in Hebrew and Jewish Studies from University College in London.

Mr. Kedar was born in 1963 in the United Kingdom and made Aliyah in 1982. He is married with three children.
