Eynat Shlein-Michael- Minister-Counselor for Middle Eastern AffairsMinister-Counselor Eynat Shlein-Michael specializes in Middle Eastern Affairs at the Embassy of Israel, Washington DC. After joining the ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1992 as a career diplomat, she was posted in various positions in the Israeli ministry, dealing mainly with Israeli-Arab issues and American affairs. Prior to her assignment to Washington, she served as a senior analyst at the Center for Political Research at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2000-2003). Between 1997-1999, Mrs. Shlein-Michael was posted as Consul at the Consulate General of Israel to New England in Boston, MA. From 1995-1997, Mrs. Shlein-Michael was posted as Second Secretary for Political Affairs at the Embassy of Israel in Amman, Jordan. During her first 18 months, she also served as acting Commercial Attach? to Jordan. Mrs. Shlein-Michael received a Bachelor degree, magna cum laude, in Middle Eastern Studies from Tel Aviv University and a Master degree in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government, at Harvard University. |
