FM Livni Visits the United States
September 13, 2006
Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni will visit the United States on September 13 for visits in Washington, D.C. and New York. In Washington, FM Livni is expected to meet Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice and National Security Advisor Stephan Hadley. She will also meet with Congressional leaders from the House and Senate.
Additionally, FM Livni will speak at the annual conference for the trustees of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.
From Washington, she will continue to New York where she will meet with political figures, public opinion makers and the press. While at the United Nations, FM Livni will also meet with heads of state and foreign ministers from Egypt, Qatar, the European Union, Canada, the Netherlands, Sweden, and other countries.
