PM Sharon announces new party and calls for elections

At least five people were killed and over 50 wounded Monday morning (11:30) at the entrance to the Sharon shopping mall in Netanya by a suicide bomber. The Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the attack.

FM Shalom: "The Palestinian leadership has not taken action against the terror organizations, allowing them to continue their murderous activity, and calls on these organizations to take part in the parliamentary elections. Israel will act against the terror organizations with all means at its disposal."
