Continuing easing of restrictions on the Palestinian population in The West Bank, the Jordan Valley and the Gaza Strip.

As part of the IDF policy of easing restrictions on the Palestinian population of the West Bank, the Jordan Valley and the Gaza Strip who are not involved in terrorism and according to security assessments that took place, the IDF authorized today an additional series of easings for the Palestinians population.

The Gaza Strip:

• Entrance of 15,000 workers.
• Entrance of 4,000 merchants.

The West Bank & the Jordan Valley:

• Entrance of 3,000 workers for the purpose of involvement in the agricultural sector in Israel.
• Entrance of 7,000 merchants.

The IDF will continue its pinpointed fight against Palestinian terror and its infrastructures, while doing its best in order to ease restrictions on the lives of the Palestinian population not involved in terror, and views the improvement of living conditions for this population as a matter of major importance.
