No End to the Killing
-
On Sunday, November 10, 2002 five civilians
were murdered in Kibbutz Metzer.
-
The victims are three adults and two children,
including a mother and her two sons, aged four and five.
-
Kibbutz Metzer, which was founded in 1953,
has throughout the years maintained relations of co-existence,
friendship and cooperation with its Arab neighbors in the nearby
villages.
-
No society in the world can accept the murder
of a mother and her two young children in their home.
-
Responsibility for the attack was claimed by
the Fatah al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, which is currently supposed
to be holding talks with the Hamas (in Cairo) on a halt to suicide
terrorist attacks within Israel.
-
Beyond the fact that we are witnessing yet
another web of lies by Arafat, the cynical attempt to draw a
distinction between terror attacks in the territories and within
the Green Line is an untenable ploy which we and every peace-loving
state must reject outright.
