In his address to Herzlia Conference, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon discussed the impact of the last twenty-seven months on Israeli society and his vision for the future. Sharon stressed the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship and articulated Israel’s response to the President Bush’s roadmap for Middle East peace. The Prime Minister provided a detailed analysis of the necessary steps that must be taken in order to reform the Palestinian Authority.
