PM's Bureau: Tenet And Mitchell Outline Must Be Followed (Communicated
by the Prime Minister's Media Adviser)
In response to various foreign press agency reports
regarding a diplomatic plan, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's
Bureau wishes to make it clear that no diplomatic plan will be
presented before we reach the negotiating table. In order to
reach the negotiating table, progress must be made according
to the agreed-upon format, i.e. seven days of complete quiet,
a six-week cooling off period and three months of
confidence-building measures in accordance with the Tenet
and Mitchell outline.
