Uncovering Of Hamas Infrastructure In Samaria
The Israel Security Agency (ISA) recently uncovered an
extensive Hamas organization in Samaria, whose members
were trained and instructed directly by the Hamas
headquarters in Syria and other countries.
The terrorists belonging to this group received intensive
training in the use of explosives and other terrorist methods,
and were highly skilled.
Several members of the terrorist group were involved in
suicide attacks carried out in Netanya on April 30 and May 18
this year, in which 8 Israelis were killed and over 100
wounded.
The ISA has arrested more than 20 terrorists belonging to
this group. The identities of others are known, and further
arrests will follow.
These arrests have disrupted terrorist activity throughout
Samaria and in certain parts of Judea as well. Israeli security
forces believe that the group was intended to play an
important role in the Hamas infrastructure in the terrorities
and in the recruiting of additional members. |
