    Tourist visas

    By the regulations of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign affairs, The Embassy of Israel in Accra  issues a tourist visa only to applicants who have received an approval from the Israeli ministry of Interior. This approval may be facilitated through an Israeli counterpart, which applies on the applicants' behalf to the ministry of Interior. Once the approval is given, The following Documents must be submitted to the Embassy via courier:

    Passport valid for a minimum of six months

    Completed Visa application form (including contact details)

    Copy of approval

    2 passport pictures

    For approved applications, there is no need for visa processing fee.

     

                   Group visas

    The embassy does not handle group visas (group consisting of more than 9 people). These applications are handled by the Israeli counterpart directly through the ministry of Interior. The group visa is then given upon arrival at an Israeli port of Entry.

     

    Groups consisting of less than 9 people, must refer to the tourist visa section of this article.

     

    Official visas and Mashav Visas

     Applicants who hold official travel documents (service or Diplomatic passports) or Mashav applicants accepted to a course in Israel, may apply directly to the Israeli Embassy in Accra. The following Documents must be submitted via courier:

      Passport valid for a minimum of six months

                  Completed Visa application form (including contact details)

                  Official letter stating  purpose of travel

                  2 passport pictures

     For Official travel documents and accepted Mashav candidates, there is no need for a visa processing fee.

     Conferences and exhibitions

    From time to time, the Embassy will promote certain Commercial conferences and exhibitions in Israel. for Applicants who wish to visit those events, the following documents must be submitted via courier at least two weeks before the date of travel:

    1) Passport valid for a minimum of six months

    2)      Completed Visa application form (including contact details)

    3)      Official letter stating purpose of travel

    4)      Evidence of registration to said event

    5)      Personal bank statement

    6)      Company's bank statement

    7)      Company's registration documents

    8)      Tax clearance certificate

    9)      Contacts of companies in Israel who you wish to meet

    10)    Letters from companies in Israel who you wish to meet

    11)   Visa processing fee of 90 ghc per person

    12)   2 passport pictures

     The embassy reserves the right to ask for further information.

     For all purposes, Applicants may apply at any other Israeli consulate around the world.

    Any breach of visa's terms and conditions shall result in deportation from Israel and prevention from future entry.
