Hillel Leadership Scholarship Program

This scholarship is available to sophomores and juniors who are active in Jewish programming on campus. Scholarships of up to $1,000 are available for 11 American and 4 Canadian students attending Hebrew University on the One Year Program. Five scholarships of $500 for a semester and $1,000 for the year are available for students attending Ben-Gurion University. In Israel, recipients participate in a creative leadership program of workshops, field trips, and individual projects and discussions. Recipients must commit to be involved with their home campus Hillel Foundation in developing Israel programming upon their return. Deadline: May 1 (for Hebrew U), June 1 (for Ben Gurion). Community Funding

Sources of funding for individual students who wish to study in Israel are available through various community organizations such as your local Federation, Jewish Community Center, Synagogue or other religious congregation.
